Inspired by the French Surrealist René Magritte, we will be making and installing miniature surreal rooms in our upstairs cabinet of curiosities throughout the month of August. We will transform the everyday into the extraordinary by manipulating viewer expectations of scale.

Check back during the month as new rooms appear! To contribute to the ongoing installation, bring in some old magazines, miniatures, or ordinary objects (of less than 5x5x5 inches) and donate them to the education staff.
