Limited Supplies.

Join us for a kilncarving workshop taught by glass instructor Kim Hylton from Bullseye Glass Co.

“Kilncarving” is a term coined at Bullseye to describe a simple kilnforming process that allows you to create texture, images or shapes into the surface of the glass. Using a base layer of fiber material, visitors will make cuts using scissors and x-acto blades to create their own personal designs. Visitors will choose what color glass to use and when fired the glass will flow around the fiber paper and take the impression of the image that has been created. The fiber paper releases from the glass leaving the image behind.

Pieces will be brought to Bullseyes Emeryville location to be fired.

Finished projects can be picked up at Helix after November 20th.
