A private workshop at Helix can be a great way to provide a fun and meaningful learning experience for your group! Private workshops are great for scout groups, after school clubs, and groups of friends.

Our goals are to provide inspiration to people of all ages to explore the world around them, and to empower them to take the lead in their own learning processes. Helix is a place where learners may ask their own questions, explore at their own pace, and discover what is exciting to them about science.

Workshop Policies

• Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Email helixlosaltos@exploratorium.edu to schedule a time.

• Available 2nd & 4th Fridays starting at 2:00 p.m. and Sundays starting at 3:30 p.m.

• Workshop duration is 90 minutes.

• Maximum 12 children ages 5+; minimum 2 adults ages 21+.

• $300 per workshop. Price includes materials and instruction.

• Payments should be made upon arrival on the day of your workshop. Please make payment in one sum for the whole group.
