School Visit Policies

Reservations required. Email helixlosaltos@exploratorium.edu to schedule a time. Available Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In order to optimize the experience for all of the students, we limit school visits to 1 class at a time.
We require 1 adult per 10 students to accompany visiting groups.
Please note that the gift shop shares the first floor with the exhibits. Please let us and your students know in advance whether they are permitted to shop, and during what period of time.
Please plan to eat lunch off site. Parks in walking distance of Helix are: Shoup Park, Lincoln Park, and Hillview Park.
